Mockery By Littl Shyning Man
Mockery is the debut album from Littl Shyning Man, a project from London based musician Christopher Haworth. Taking the name Littl Shyning Man from the book “Riddley Walker” by Russell Hoban, a story set in post-doomsday England, Haworth has created in Mockery, the perfect soundtrack to this apocalyptic tale. Haunting, at times unsettling, suffused with melancholy and wonder, Mockery is a stunning and beautifully composed masterpiece. Your unready ears will be blessed with anything from woodsy folk to abrasive noise, melodic electronica to number crunching digital scree, glacial drone to synthesiser wig-outs, 8-part vocal harmony to searing guitar feedack, slap bass to spoken word, bird song to robot song, none of this to all of this, all at once and none of the time. It's like "sleepwalking through the woods.. with a better drummer" according to flux magazine and they can't be wrong so check out new album Mockery available now on Head+Arm/Sonic360.

Growgrow / Test Lies By Chabz and Krizo
Bloated with chunky beats, nauseous with gut churning sub-bass and lacerated with scratched rhythms, this double release is a unique coupling of two prolific musicians who have created their unique style of Transylvanian leftfield hip hop, putting Hungary on the musical map.

Kayip By Kayip
Through soaring melodies, hypnotic rhythms and introspective monologues this is KAYIP’s eponymous debut; an ambient exploration of modern life. ‘KAYIP’s down tempo beats and lurking breaks form a mirrored frame around the meditative lounge at the core of the album. A labyrinth of the semi-conscious, this is the soundtrack for the most fantastical dreams and haunting nightmares. Dreamy soundscapes, soft heartbeat drums and muffled conversational lyrics, ‘KAYIP’ is a musical journey across the vast plains of life. Enjoy the trip.

AMOR DE COMPUTADORA

Amor De Computadora By Tammy
TAMMY’s magical AMOR DE COMPUTADORA is a confident, but reserved E.P. of electroclash wizardry, previously released by Independiente in 2000 and which became a classic in the electro scene in Buenos Aires. TAMMY conjures up a new signature sound, by injecting musicality and pop sensibility into the aloof minimalist genre. Immersed in a childish but taciturn universe, TAMMY compels listeners to surrender without escape to his subliminal and hypnotic melodies. In AMOR DE COMPUTADORA, TAMMY has birthed an album of childish wisdom. Charmingly nostalgic and youthful, the E.P. flirts with deeper philosophy through splintered rhythms and darker beats. Having worked with DJ Hell (Gigolo) among others, Tammy's is now working with fellow argentinian 'Gurtz'.

PANAMEñA

Panameña By Gladkazuka
PANAMEÑA is the debut solo effort from Colombian musician GLADKAZUKA. With blunt guitars, thumping drum machines and choppy synth textures, this is retro electronica at its best. Keeping a slick eighties edge, GLADKAZUKA takes the smuttiest edge of dirty disco and mixes with the simplest of infectious rhythms. This is delicious new wave electro-pop fused with all the additives and e-numbers of the best dance music. With hollowed out tinny beats, muddy bass and rolling gun shots of pure house magic, PANAMEÑA undeniably romanticises an era of the past, while paving the way for a new age in synth music.

Granufunk By Granufunk
'GRANUFUNK'is an album of magnetic originality; a true case of opposites attracting. The minimalist, oft haunting calmness underlying each song is masterfully juxtaposed against the agitated rhythms and glitchy beats inherent in each track. While the seamless continuity lies in its stargazing melancholia and curious wisdom, 'GRANUFUNK' surprises at every opportunity, utilising discordant grinding beats, whispering bi-lingual lyrics (by guest vocalist Sonni Plankton), delicate programming, booming basslines, and spine-tingling melodies. Throughout, GRANUFUNK creates a unique ambience through a mixture of harsh scarred urban brokenbeat and earthy jazz. 'GRANUFUNK' is an album of rich, poignant material, with a potent lingering after effect.

No One Over 21 By Fussible
The follow up to the highly acclaimed 'Odyssea', Fussible return with a dirty, percussive and uplifting sequel: 'No One Over 21'. Inspired by the mass movement of under-age kids who regularly cross the border between San Diego and Fussible's home-town, Tijuana, Mexico, 'No One Over 21' evokes the excitement, nervous energy and rebellion at the notorious crossing point. With a whopping 7 remixes, this eclectic package takes the Nortec sound into new territories.

Odyssea (Remixes 1) By Fussible
Remixes of FUSSIBLE's stonking dancefloor killer tune Odyssea. 'La Ballena' and 'La Rom U Rosa' both delve into a deeper exploration of the sonic qualities of Mexican tambora, Norteno, crispy high hats, and parpy horns, twisting it into a more laid-back Loungey vibe, but still packing a mighty punch!

Odyssea By Fussible
FUSSIBLE provided six out of the eight mixes of 'Odyssea'. The new mixes include the more downbeat and trippy 'La Rom U Rosa Remix' which still maintains a strong Latin flavour. Next up 'La Ballena' mix is a monster of a dancefloor tune combining four to the flour beats with FUSSIBLE's live percussion and horns - it also features a vocal sample by Gigolo Records' artist (DJ Hell's label) Tampopo which brings us to the next mix by Tampopo himself versus French "Sound designer" and producer MewiMewi under their Giant Swarm guise. Tampopo vs. MewiMewi's version is adventurous, electronic, dark and twisted!
